expert guidance for meaningful and lasting growth
Grace + Grit Learning Collective was founded on the belief that students thrive when they are understood as whole individuals- not as a collection of deficits, test scores, or isolated challenges.
I work with students and families who feel overwhelmed by academic demands, social expectations, or the growing complexity of modern learning environments. Many of the students I support are capable, curious, and bright, yet feel stuck due to learning differences, executive functioning challenges, emotional distress, or repeated experiences of frustration and failure.
What sets Grace + Grit apart is an integrated, collaborative approach. Rather than working in isolation, I partner closely with families, classroom teachers, and outside specialists—including psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and other providers—to ensure learning support is aligned, intentional, and practical across settings.
Throughout my career as an educator, learning specialist, and consultant, I have worked predominantly with neurodiverse learners, including students with ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and executive functioning challenges. Again and again, I have seen students struggle not because of a lack of ability, but because support systems were fragmented, expectations were misaligned, or learning environments did not reflect how they processed the world.
a collaborative whole child approach
My work is rooted in deep instructional knowledge, paired with communication marked by tact, empathy, and clarity. I am known for building strong, collaborative relationships and for being tenacious in my commitment to helping students, families, and teams implement strategies that truly make a difference.
I bring a calm, informed presence to complex situations—offering both a listening ear and actionable guidance grounded in more than 20 years of experience supporting neurodiverse students. My role is often to help reduce inefficiency, stress, and disconnect so that everyone supporting a child is working toward shared goals.
capable students don’t need fixing -
they need support that fits.
the heart of the matter
At the heart of Grace + Grit Learning Collective is a commitment to helping students build self-awareness, self-advocacy, and confidence- skills that extend far beyond the classroom and prepare them to navigate an evolving world with resilience and clarity.
Grace + Grit reflects both my professional philosophy and my personal commitment to helping students and families move forward with clarity, confidence, and care.
